This specification describes StratEdge's own product and control model. It is not an industry standard, a certification, or a customer result.

## Purpose

Teams should not reconstruct an approval file after the fact. ProofAudit turns the workflow into an evidence package while the work is open.

This specification describes that package. It is StratEdge's product model, version 2026-10-05. It is not an audit standard and it does not replace an auditor.

## Record

A package has a case ID, a document version, the count of required artifacts, the count received, the count missing, an approval chain with role, action, and timestamp, a verification status on each artifact, a document reference and hash where a file is on file, and an export status.

Export stays held while a required artifact is missing.

## Path

Capture, then Verify, then Approve, then Export. Capture takes the documents and the decision context. Verify checks the expected artifact type, version, and hash. Approve records the person or role, the action, and the time. Export produces the package.

## Boundary

The public demonstration uses illustrative identifiers and illustrative documents. A customer program uses that customer's records under the customer agreement.
